Wednesday Drawing with Alvin Xiong

This class is designed for students who aim to explore realistic drawing by using still life objects and photo reference (students own or tutor provided). Students will be introduced to the method to start a drawing, as well as perspective, proportion, form, tone and  texture. The tutor will offer tips and methods for correcting shape, lighting and shading, supported by demonstrations.

This class will cover the methods that simplify the challenge of capturing a likeness. All abilities are welcome, as the class is structured to give a short group introduction then one on one instruction to each student. Appropriate content for returning students is accommodated.
