You'll roll up your sleeves and get hands-on experience with acrylics on canvas, all while honing your skills with the help of engaging demonstrations and insider tips. From painting still life scenes to capturing the essence of people in portraits, you'll explore a wide range of subjects and let your creativity run wild!

MATERIALS REQUIRED: Recommended Acrylic paints; primary yellow, white and black (Warehouse Stationery Chromacryl)  or similar from Gordon Harris or other art shops (not 2 dollar shop), burnt sienna, yellow ochre, lemon yellow, cadmium yellow, ultramarine blue, phthalo blue, cadmium red, alizarin crimson. If unsure bring what you have to first lesson - minimum red, yellow, blue, white and black. Brushes - Filbert size 6 or 8, Round size 6 or 8, Flat  half inch or one inch, Fan brush or bring what you have. Small packs of synthetic brushes are available at Gordon Harris - purple handle for reasonable price.
A4 Canvas Board, palette paper pad, A4 sketch pad, pencil, kitchen roll, baking paper, A4 plastic container with lid – kitchen roll – we will be using a wet palette technique to preserve your acrylics, sponge and small spray bottle.
