The two courses offered in wheel throwing are for a mix of beginners and intermediate students. Beginners will be taught how to centre, throw, turn and glaze in the production of cylinders and bowl forms. Intermediate students will be encouraged to perfect the basic forms and throw larger or develop forms of their choosing with handles, lids and spouts.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: We recommend purchasing clay and glazes from CCG Industries https://www.ccg.co.nz/. Suggested throwing clay; Clay Works Cone 6 White Clay. Glazes can be duscussed with the tutor. Kiln firing included in price.
