Minhwa - Korean Folk Painting

Minhwa (Korean folk painting)

Minhwa is roughly drawn. It expresses the Koreans' philosophy of art: bold strokes, vivid colours, and unconventional layouts combined with wit, humour, and an optimistic spirit. This relaxed class explores traditional Korean painting and Asian painting techniques, which use Korean pigment, traditional paper(Hanji), silk, and traditional Korean brushes. It will be exciting

to see the new style of painting and Korean culture during the class.

You will learn Korean history and new techniques, make new friends, and have fun with Minhwa.  We welcome Beginners and intermediate painters.
