Clay Taniwha with Susan Browne 7-12 yrs

In Māori mythology, taniwha are large supernatural beings that live in deep pools in rivers, dark caves, or in the sea and they may also be considered highly respected kaitiaki (protective guardians) of people and places. Use your creativity to create a taniwha based on our existing sculpture at the front of Lake House Arts by learning clay sculpture skills and using specific tools.
