Te Whare Roto o Toi – Lake House Arts warmly invites you to the opening of Beautiful World, the debut solo exhibition by Deng Tian Kai. A young, North Shore local and former Westlake Boys High School student, Deng is a self-taught artist driven by curiosity for history, philosophy, and the subconscious. His work has evolved into a distinctive visual language—organic, unrestrained, and always in motion—brought to life through vibrant colour and intuitive brushwork. Join us to celebrate an exciting new voice, meet the artist, and enjoy refreshments.

You’ll join us for a 30-minute mindful zen tea experience, followed by a 1-hour open discussion, with time afterwards to view Beautiful World and take part in the mindfulness ball activity.
