Supporting Access to Arts Education at Lake House Arts – VIEW THE BURTON COLLECTION HERE – Burton Collection Fundraiser – Lake House Arts

For over 25 years, Te Whare Roto o Toi – Lake House Arts has ensured arts education remains accessible to all. But as living costs rise, more families are struggling to afford creative opportunities for their tamariki.

At the same time, rising operational costs place increasing pressure on our ability to remain financially sustainable while keeping programmes affordable.

In response to this challenge, Kaiwhakahaere Grae Burton has made an extraordinary gesture.

Over the past decade, Grae has personally supported exhibiting artists by purchasing works from Lake House exhibitions. He has now donated approximately 80 of those works back to Lake House Arts.

These artworks — representing a decade of local creative excellence — will be auctioned online to establish a renewed Scholarship Fund supporting:

• Young people who cannot otherwise afford art classes
• Tamariki and rangatahi access to creative learning
• Outreach programmes
• Free and subsidised community participation

This is more than an auction.
It is a circle of generosity.

Artists were supported.
The artworks were cherished.
Now they return to support the next generation.

Bid generously.
Support access.
Invest in creativity.

Together, we ensure art remains for everyone.
