Step through our doors and discover the creativity thriving at Lake House Arts during a lively week of exhibitions, performances, open studios, workshops and open classes.

Open Week begins with Art Lovers Weekend, featuring 10% off all artwork, alongside the In Print exhibition celebration and Leave the Lights On: Stories of Home—an exhibition and performance exploring what home means to us.

Throughout the week, visitors can observe or experience painting, watercolour, ceramics, illustration, guitar, printmaking, whakairo and more. Artists can also gain practical knowledge through workshops covering sustainable art practice, accounting, self-promotion and exhibiting at Lake House Arts.
Whether you are an established artist, an absolute beginner, an art lover or simply curious about what happens behind our studio doors, everyone is welcome.

Some activities are free or koha, while others may require payment or advance booking.
