Alyssa Beckwith

Alyssa’s primary interests are in painting, drawing, and printmaking. Working in the space between abstract and figurative forms, her work mainly focuses on exploring the different facets of self. Alyssa completed her Masters in Creative Practice at Unitec in 2025.

Chelsea Carter

Chelsea is an experienced Arts Educator with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, from AUT. Chelsea specialises in Painting and Photography, while also wearing a range of creative hats to fill her kete (basket) of knowledge, including but not limited to sculpture, printmaking, textiles, and more recently; ceramics. Chelsea has previously worked in an established dealer gallery, working directly with artists and art lovers alike, and has also worked in the youth not-for-profit space, showing her passion for fueling the next generations.

Darian Serrano

Darian Serrano is a Mixed Media artist/Illustrator and third year student at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design. His current practice is focused on story telling and societal critique through the use of Textiles, Acrylic ink, narrative composition, absurdism, and satire.

Gavin Jones

Gavin is a practicing artist whose main focus is painting. He also has experience with drawing, printmaking, art installation, exhibition design as well as working as a materials consultant for an art supplies store. Gavin’s painting methodology is loosely structured intentionally; this allows him to unlock new shapes and locate them within a pictorial space so that an alternative meaning can emerge.

Grae Burton

Grae Burton is a visual / performing artist and filmmaker. He has over 160 artworks in the Wallace Arts Trust Permanent Collection.

Jack Cathro

Jack Cathro is a Titirangi-based Potter and Ceramic artist. He takes special interest in using wild clays and found materials in his making process, and draws inspiration from both an Eastern Wabi-Sabi style as well as the more country rustic production pottery of Europe and the UK. An enduring focus for his work is the relationships and rituals that grow around the objects in our everyday lives.

Kyung Baro

Kyung’s art practice floats between the mediums of textiles, painting, text, and publication. She studied at the Elam School of Fine Arts, experimenting with various new modes of expression before finding her own artistic voice. Kyung enjoys sharing her passion for art and is excited to help others experience the same enthusiasm through a playful approach to creation.

Livia Mu

Livia had formal ceramic training in both throwing and hand-building. She started her clay journey in an art centre in Wellington, NZ in 2018, then got back to China’s ceramic capital Jingdezhen ( 景德镇) many times in different years to have formal training for different themes. She was trained and influenced from both NZ & China pottery styles.

Marcel Kalma

Marcel attended Elam school of Art in the early 2000s. He has contributed to various group shows such as Art Ache and Artist on Artists.

Michelle Garner

Devonport based artist, Michelle Garner has been fine tuning her skills as a portrait and landscape painter in watercolour, acrylic and oil over the last 20 years.

Natanahira Te Pona

Natanahira graduated from the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute as a wood sculptor. He has extensive experience managing sculpture symposiums and creating public sculptures around New Zealand.

Navid Masoudnia

Navid Masoudnia is currently pursuing a PhD in Media and Communication at Massey University in Auckland, New Zealand.

Peter Grahame

Dip. Performing Art. Music composer, producer and director. Guitar, piano, percussion and vocals.

Rosemary Dowler

Rosemary has a passion for pottery using the wheel, whilst also using molds and hand-made methods.

Shiraz Smith

Shiraz is a fine artist who has exhibited internationally, created murals with children and is currently immersed in the art of paper quilling.

Sue Mansour

Sue loves to explore the beauty of different cultures and the connections between people.

Susan Browne

Susan has technical experience working with ceramic including hand building; slab method, pinch potting, coiling, slip casting and clay modelling.

Susannah MacDonald

Susannah is an exhibiting artist specialising in water colour, oil and acrylic painting and drawing, a published author, illustrator, and art teacher both for adults and children.

Trina Smith

Trina is an artist with a passion for helping children who think in pictures. Her classes are geared for primary age children where they get to sculpt, paint and draw.

Verity Kindlaysides

Verity is an art educator who enjoys sharing her passion for fine arts by teaching classes and workshops and conducting demonstrations.
