The Make Room
Cath O'Brien and Wendy Lawson
The Make Room is an evolving artist-run space jointly operated by Cath O'Brien and Wendy Lawson.
"We provide opportunities for self-expression through a range of art forms including visual art, music and movement, writing and drama, delivered in a person-centred way” says Wendy.
The Make Room currently offers creative sessions for kids as well as arts therapy sessions for groups and individuals.
The Make Room’s vision is to establish collaborative projects with other artists, expressive therapists, and art enthusiasts to enhance creative possibilities across our diverse communities.
“We're looking forward to the collaborative element of the space and are excited to see what stems from it,” says Cath.
Cath O’Brien has been working in creative spaces with others, mainly children, for around 8 years. Alongside her own art practice Cath continues to offer her popular children's creativity sessions from The Make Room.
