Our annual Exhibitors’ Orientation Workshop offers artists an informative, behind-the-scenes introduction to exhibiting in the Becroft Gallery. Join Grae Burton to learn about the history of Lake House, our kaupapa and the role exhibitions play within our wider creative community.
The workshop will guide you through the complete exhibition journey—from developing and submitting a strong proposal to planning, promoting and staging your exhibition if selected. We will cover the practical expectations, responsibilities and timelines involved, helping you understand what makes an exhibition successful at Lake House Arts.
We will also share a few useful “what not to do” examples, based on our experience working with many artists and exhibitions over the years.
