Advanced Carving with Natanahira Te Pona (5-week blocks)

This course is for students who have already completed the Beginner’s Panel Carving course or have good experience of carving and have purchased the additional tools below. Students will learn to carve from a block of wood, creating relief sculptures incorporating traditional patterns and designs. The 5-week blocks are not a continuation.
Up to $150 additional cost for tools (chisel, mallet, backboard & tool box) will be required in the first session and this can be purchased through the tutor.
