Artist Statement:
"With this sculpture , I am representing the form of the friend . Ones that have been in the past and ones that are yet to come . I have used a contemporary style and incorporated aspects of whakairo as befitting of a carving made in AOTEAROA . The colour is vibrant and alive and the paints are strong and will outlast the world itself . I always look forward to the future with my art and imagine the audience giving me praise and criticism in 100 years time .. Kia Ora
I can drop the painting off sometime soon . Right now , I just have too focus on completion to the image I see in my mind
I've got a price of 9K. The size is 860cm at the highest point and 45cm at it widest on the base . The carving consists of 4 individual freestanding wooden structures that all freely support each other.
