Harae mai ki te Hakari – Honour Waitangi Day 2025 with Us
Nau mai, haere mai. Join us on 6 February, 6 AM – 1 PM, as we come together to honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi with reflection, connection, and shared kai.
6 AM: Start the day with a Pōwhiri at Te Kāmaka Marae (103 College Road, Northcote). Enjoy morning tea and kōrero with local whānau.
8 AM: Walk with us in the Hikoi to Te Whare Roto o Toi – Lake House Arts, where the day continues.
9 AM: Explore the Arts Market, see live arts demos and performances, and join in Waitangi kōrero led by local whānau.
10AM: Waitata by Peter Grahame
11AM: Waitata by Carl Carveeka
11.45AM: Honoring Te Tiriti: A Kōrero on Arts, Culture, and Community with Dr. Poroto and Grae Burton - Tindall Room
12:30 PM: Gather for a FREE Community Hāngi – up to 1500 servings prepared to share kai together. Once served all gone! So dont miss out!
