Livia Mu

Livia had formal ceramic training in both throwing and hand-building. She started her clay journey in an art centre in Wellington, NZ in 2018, then got back to China’s ceramic capital Jingdezhen ( 景德镇) many times in different years to have formal training for different themes. She was trained and influenced from both NZ & China pottery styles.
She also had training on woodworking and woodcarving. Recently, she started to explore printmaking as well. She has also been a pastry chef/ baker/ barista for many years. She is passionate about using her hands to create things that people enjoy, whether it be art/craft work, or beautifully baked items and real barista coffee.
