Explore the wonderful world of ceramics in this beginner’s/intermediate class. Beginner’s will learn hand building; create a slab vase shape, a pressed mould piece and a pinch pot sculpture. Glazing and decorating will also be taught to support you in making your own ceramic pieces. Intermediate students will be independent but guided by the tutor.

Please note this is not a pottery wheel throwing class.

Materials Required

Clay, tools and glazes can be purchased from CCG Industries https://www.ccg.co.nz Beginners are encouraged to ask CCG for clay recommendations for specific hand building projects. Kiln firing is included in the price.
