This is a great opportunity to hear more about her creative process, inspiration, and the stories behind her striking mixed-media works.
“A Journey to See” evokes collaboration of thoughts, events, places of inspiration, including new people and stories shared.
This most recent body of work further extends a continued interest in re-contextualizing materials particularly discarded objects, giving a “new life”, all underpinned by creative studio play and experimentation.
Large in scale, some framed in recovered aluminium, scarred with fire, layered with texture, inlaid with metals, the works are left intentionally raw. The works command presence – balancing the depth of rugged forms with clarity of contemporary design.
Part of this exhibition, The “Acknowledgement Series” is a tribute to women facing Breast Cancer – reflecting their strength, grace, and the quiet beauty within resilience.
You are now invited to view each of these unique original artworks that embrace coded messages of discovery, spirit, fight, courage to venture, reflect and pause.
As a result you will be taken on a very personal “Journey to See”.
