Our Offering

Lake House Arts Centre is a heritage building and the first public community facility you can visit arriving on the North Shore over Auckland Harbour Bridge.

As of 2019, it is one of the top five most popular arts facilities in Auckland and in the Top Three for arts programme delivery.  Relocated to the reclaimed reserve at 37 Fred Thomas Drive, Lake House Arts has free parking and is two minutes walk from Akoranga Bus Terminal.  There are two gallery spaces onsite, the Becroft Gallery and the Members Cafe, as well as regular art rotations on its hallway walls and main meeting rooms and teaching studios.

Between the two buildings at the facility, there are nine studios with Resident Artists or Art Organisations and eight rooms/studios reserved for teaching art classes that are available for hire by the public.

Membership of Lake House Arts is open to the public. Membership provides discounts on art supplies and studio use, exclusive invitations to events and AGM voting rights.

Lake House Arts is a family-friendly community arts centre offering exhibitions with affordable art, art events, art classes and activities.
