Online Platform Rules
INTRODUCTION
These rules apply to all users of online platforms who engage in Lake House Arts online activities. Including, but not limited to-
- Students
- Staff
- Admins
- Trustees
- Any person engaging with Lake House Arts online in any capacity
When users engage with Lake House Arts they agree to adhere to these Online Platform Rules, in addition to Lake House Arts Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Child Protection Policies.

Failure to adhere to these rules, policies and conditions may result in penalties such as immediate banning, deletion of content or prosecution, or any combination of those or other penalty deemed suitable, to be determined at the absolute discretion of the Operations Manager of Lake House Arts and Trustees for the Lake House Trust.
LEGAL
All who engage with Lake House Arts through online platforms are bound by New Zealand Law and the governing laws relevant to each user. The content shared through online platforms and the behavior of users engaged through online platforms provided by Lake House Arts must adhere to the law. Illegal activity will not be tolerated and will be reported to the relevant authorities for prosecution.
HARASSMENT
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Harassment may include but is not limited to-
- Harassment based on race
- Harassment based on gender
- Harassment based on religion
- Harassment based on disability
- Harassment based on sexual orientation
- Age-related harassment
- Sexual harassment
- Quid pro quo sexual harassment

GENERAL ONLINE PLATFORM FORUM RULES
- Be Kind and Courteous We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
- No Hate Speech or Bullying Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
- No Promotions or Spam Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren’t allowed.
- Respect Everyone’s Privacy Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
