Exhibition Spaces and Programme
The annual program of exhibitions, events and activities runs every year.
Many of our Exhibitions, Events and Activities crossover multiple platforms for what is delivered at Lake House Arts, including:
- Multiple Gallery and Exhibiting Spaces
- Hirable Spaces for events and Activities
- A diverse arts and culture education program
- Free community arts activities and events
- A Membership programme for artists, art lovers and students
- Lake House resident artists and arts organisations
Our programme is informed by:
- Creating opportunities for our Membership and Students.
- Traditional Exhibitions with a history at Lake House Arts.
- Creating new opportunities for emerging and established professional artists.
- Creating new opportunities for Community Organisations and Schools.
- Creating opportunities for the wider community to engage in unique arts activities.
- Engagement with our Maori Culture, History and Heritage.
- Engagement with our wider, diverse international community who have made New Zealand their home.
- Our relationship with Auckland City Council Arts and Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and events/activities they provide the wider Auckland community.

Becroft Gallery - Sophisticated and Classy
Our art gallery is available for those larger functions or social gatherings
Ogle Gallery & Café Space - Lively and Social
Our cafe has a lovely room full of tables and chairs, so ideal for smaller gatherings or meetings after hours
The Hayes Studio - Gather Round
The Hayes is a flexible space for functions, workshops, meetings, private lunches or educational classes
The Tindall Room - Let's Discuss
Tindall is our corporate offering; a function room perfect for meetings, presentations, conferences or private lunches
The O'Neill Library - Private and Charming
Our newly refurbished O’Neill Library provides an ideal creative space for meetings, readings, strategy sessions, presentations, tutoring or as a temporary office
Latest Events
We partner with Auckland Council and local artists to provide arts, culture and heritage events and activities for all members of the local community to enjoy.

Celebrate Matariki at the Pūanga-Matariki Twilight Market!
Join us on Friday 20 June, 4pm–9pm at Lake House Arts for a magical evening of art, kai, music, and connection. Wander through exhibitions, explore the historic house, enjoy food and craft stalls, visit the open carving studio, and experience the spirit of Matariki with waiata and more. Free event – all welcome!

Mojgan’s artwork draws inspiration from nature, human emotions, and
social issues. Her artworks evoke empathy, capturing the essence of the world around her.
She has won prizes and exhibited widely in Iran.
