Lake House Arts Centre

We provide a range of unique studios, all the way up to reserving the entire Lake House Art centre, complete with full catering services depending on your needs. Our venue features different room sizes, features, and additional services to support the purpose of your booking. With beautiful gardens, complimentary parking, art exhibitions, convenient facilities, and easy access to Auckland City, the Lake House Arts Centre is a fantastic venue for hire.

The Lake House

Built entirely of heart kauri in the late 1800s, and relocated to Barry’s Point Reserve in 1996 from Takapuna Beach, our vibrant arts centre has six gallery spaces, five hirable studios.

The Barracks

Features two Fort Cautley Army Barracks that have been lovingly restored into 4 versatile rooms for hire. Ideal for creative classes, large gatherings, corporate affairs and much more.

The Grounds

The Lake House grounds make for the loveliest setting for outdoor functions and activities. Enjoy the stunning gardens and make your next event a truly unforgettable experience.

About Lake House Arts

Lake House Arts is one of the Top Five providers of Arts, Culture and Heritage Programmes in the Auckland Region, and welcomes over 65,000 visitors yearly. The centre features three historic Takapuna/Devonport buildings, including Lake House and two Fort Cautley Army Barracks. Utilising six gallery spaces, five hirable studios, beautiful gardens and a popular cafe, Lake House Arts provides public access six days a week, and private after hours access 24/7 for the community to experience exhibitions, events, classes, workshops, holiday programmes, tours and more.
