RATA Printmakers – Rutherford Studio

RATA Printmakers is a not-for-profit collective of artists who practise printmaking.
The collective provides:
● A focal point where members can meet, share ideas, experiment and practise printmaking
● The opportunity to participate in exhibitions and workshops
● Access to a specialised printmaking studio
● The means to promote members’ work and printmaking itself Our studio is located in the Rutherfurd Room on the ground floor of the Lake House Arts Centre, 37 Fred Thomas Drive, Takapuna, Auckland. Membership We welcome new members to join by paying a monthly subscription fee to contribute to studio rent and expenses. Members benefits include
● Opportunity to exhibit in group shows
● Exhibit works for sale in the Lake House display areas
● Take part in “in house” workshops
● Use the studio on a fee basis as per the Schedule of Membership.
● Organise and teach print related classes
● Participate in meetings with visiting printmakers
● Meet and discuss printmaking topics and projects
● Take advantage of preferential booking for professional development and master class workshops held by local and overseas printmakers A member may pay an extra monthly fee, over and above the standard monthly subscription, which will give the extra benefit of:
● Use of the studio and equipment, at no extra cost, as if it was your private studio
● A key to the studio with 24/7 access, except when the studio is being used for meetings, workshops or classes.
