Flexible spaces that let you get messy

Lovingly called The Barracks as it features two Fort Cautley Army Barracks that have been restored into 4 versatile rooms for hire. These spaces are ideal for art classes, workshops, pottery and other messy artistic pursuits, large gatherings, corporate affairs and much more.
Our venue features different room sizes, features, and additional services to support the purpose of your booking. With beautiful gardens, complimentary parking, art exhibitions, convenient facilities, and easy access to Auckland City, the Lake House Arts Centre is a fantastic venue for hire.

H&R4 – Creativity Is Life
The Barracks
HR4 is a great space for painting, art and craft, dance and movement classes, birthday parties, as well as meetings and conferences
20 people when used as a classroom, or up to 60 people for meetings

The studio space is ideal for "messy" works. This room boasts strong benches and pottery wheels, and is often used for clay and mosaic classes.
